Tax Manager ~ Tax Strategy / HNW & Family Office

Location:
Secaucus, NJ

Salary: $130k to $150k plus bonus

Open due to retirement! Tax Manager with 4 to 8 years of tax experience to provide tax strategy for High Net Worth / Family Office. CPA preferred. You will be part of a team of experienced professionals supporting a Family office focused on hospitality, industrial and residential property investments.

• Tax analysis and strategic tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• Prepare 1065s, 1120s and complex 1040s.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform tax projections and tax planning.
• Perform tax research as needed.
• Assist with quarterly estimated tax payments and provide oversight with Form 1099s.
• Correspond with federal and state taxing authorities.
• Remain current with legislative and tax policy changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MST degree a plus.
• CPA is preferred.
• 4-8 years of progressive public accounting and tax preparation experience.
• Experience with HNW and UHNW.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge with One Source Tax and Yardi real estate accounting software is preferrable.
• Family office services experience a plus.
