This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment Program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU).

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to provide specialist social work service to consumers and their carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes consistent with NSW Health policies and procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct. The position will also participate in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching, quality activities and other relevant departmental and administrative duties.

The Senior Social Worker workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two to 13 weeks to support short‑term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

• A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
