• As an EY SAP Technology Presales, you directly help EY & clients with highly efficient, optimised and precise pursuit proposals that leverage EY’s Technology assets and capabilities to transform and manage their business. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, delivery leadership and pursuit stakeholders.
• Pursuit shaping: provide guidance for solution & pursuit definition, presales thought leadership, ascertain technical delivery possibilities & costs for top critical business solution implementations based on EY Technology products, tools & processes.
• Presales development by working with internal stakeholders (Product Owners, Business Owners, EY SAP Delivery Teams, GDS). Envisioning, design and development of the pursuit design and response with a focus on EY’s SAP delivery and technology capabilities for the enterprise, industry, platform and solutions.

• Presales / Pursuit Architecture & Solutioning for mid to large scale pursuits
• Provide thought leadership during deal development, pursuit & close phases
• Deep understanding of SAP Technology and EY’s SAP drivers, products, tools & processes
• Establish Presales standards, guidelines and procedures to increase pursuit success
• Hands-on in creating end-to-end solution architecture aligned with client EA and IT Roadmaps
• Shape RFP responses and provide insights from tech experience
• Collaborate with innovation and product teams to address technology gaps
• Understand impact of emerging technology and how business and IT capture value
• Identify ways to reduce costs and increase efficiencies through EY’s architecture
• Contribute to the Presales community and onboard new Presales Architects
• Maintain relationships with delivery/competence center teams and ensure solutions follow approved designs throughout the lifecycle
• Interact with stakeholders on presales issues and strategic improvements
• Coach business owners and pursuit leads on technology presales
• Document pursuit/architecture roadmaps using templates and standards
• Identify, communicate, mitigate and resolve technology issues and risks
• Collaborate with Technology Product Teams and influence backlogs

• Knowledge of industry solutions/products
• Strong tech background in deal development, architecture & strategy
• Experience on large-scale multi-technology, data, analytics deals
• Technology all-round expertise – Applications, Infrastructure, Digital, Security
• Technical/data/application/integration architecture experience
• Experience responding to RFPs and shaping client proposals
• Expertise in solution write-ups and client presentations
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong business acumen and ability to develop strategic client relationships
• Ability to identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Awareness of portfolio management principles, tools and techniques
• Organized and methodical with the ability to plan and execute amidst uncertainty
• Detail-oriented, rigorous, with leadership and negotiation skills

• Individual contributor role; ability to influence without authority
• Experience in offshore/onsite models and working across geographies
• Certifications/experience in Agile Delivery and Dev Ops (desirable)
• Architectural training/certifications (TOGAF or IASA) desirable
• Knowledge of ITIL V3/V4 service management frameworks is a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of technology, business development & thought leadership
