Job Description

Summary:

The Digital Architect will serve in a critical leadership role as the Manager over the Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure Activities and in a partnership role with the IT and Business Teams. The Digital Architect’s primary focus is the alignment of the Digital solution both logical and physical with the Corporate Systems and Technology Roadmaps aiming to meet both short term and long term goals.

Key Accountabilities:

• Be the lead architect working with front-end, back-end and integration architects / development leads

• Drive solution discussions for the entire Digital Program

• Create a technology roadmap for the future of digital landscape

• Explain complex technical issues in a way that varying IT and Business Teams may understand.

Required Skills:

• Using REST APIs within mobile applications

• Proficiency with Web Services / APIs and excellent understanding of JSON / XML

Desired

Skills:

• Experience with e-commerce including REST API development

• Experience / understanding of frameworks such as Angular or React

JS using node.js etc

• Native / Hybrid mobile application development (iOS and/or Android) using Cordova, Ionic, and related technologies

• Container strategies and ecosystems such as Docker, Kubernetes

Experience

• 10+ years of mobile / desktop web development or architecture experience.
