Special Event Fabrication company seeks over hire carpenters to work as needed on various projects. Secaucus, NJ based shop fully equipped. Working under the supervision of the Head of Carpentry.

• Physically capable of undertaking the requirements of the position including lifting, bending, stretching and reaching for long periods of time
• Able to work at height on ladders and access platforms
• Ability to read and understand CAD Drawings
• Ability to read and understand Build Drawings
• Ability to work from scale drawings, models, plans, sketches, verbal ideas and references
• Ability to create cut lists, material needs, etc. to complete a project
• Excellent practical woodwork and resistant material skills
• Adhere to safety standards and proper handling of equipment and gear
• Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously on the job
• Effective time management skills and ability to work as part of a team in a busy workshop environment

• SUPPORT WORK – Keeping shop clean. If not currently assigned a task, cleaning and putting tools away
• Accept all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor/manager
• Hourly Position with possibility of overtime when necessary

KadaN's facilities include a design/production office adjacent to a 80,000 square foot shop. Our facility is fully equipped for woodworking and cabinetry, metal working, upholstering, and scenic painting/faux finish paint treatments. Our facility also houses an extensive rental stock for your event needs.
