Systems Engineer
About The Role
The Systems Test Technician supports production test, failure analysis and repair activities to achieve quality targets and on‑time delivery of systems according to the overall production schedule. Work with the cross‑functional production and management teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
What You’ll Do- System Test
- System setup in test
- System updates and verification
- Execution of system test scripts and process
- System Failure Analysis and Repair
- Identification of error codes
- Troubleshooting of system errors for corrective actions
- Execution of system hardware repairs per proper procedures
- Issue Resolution
- Manage/escalate issues impacting systems in test and communicate to Peer technicians, Team Lead and Supervisors
- Continuous Improvement / 5S Support
- Work with extended team to identify and execute process improvements / 5S actions
- Associate’s degree in IT, or certification from a technical school and/or equivalent related work experience
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications are beneficial but not required.
- Configuration experience of Microsoft OS Vista/Win7/Server/Office suite and basic Linux
- 4+ years PC system related hardware or networking experience is beneficial
- Requires the ability to bend, twist, pull, lift and stand for extended periods of time
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 30 lb
ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $48,880 and $55,692. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
