Job SummaryWe are seeking a Formulation Scientist to lead the development of innovative Dietary Supplements/Nutraceutical products across our organization. This role will be responsible for designing and optimizing formulations for stability, bioavailability, and manufacturability, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless production. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and create cutting‑edge solutions in the nutraceutical space.
Job LocationSecaucus, NJ, with frequent travel to Islandia, NY.
Essential Job Functions- Work closely with the R&D team on New Formulations & Specifications to support technical needs of new formulations.
- Conduct bench top formulation work, pilot trial, and manufacturing scale up support.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of experiments including results and conclusions.
- Work directly with customers to design and develop formulations with (powders, capsules, tablets, gummies) and align with customer product brief, cost target, and regulatory requirements.
- Support manufacturing processes and troubleshooting.
- Work with cross functional teams, to evaluate and select raw materials active ingredient excipients and processing based upon their functionality, stability, bioavailability and sensory performance.
- Seeks out and uses new tools, processes and procedures to add value to the company.
- Write technical reports as requested.
- Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations for the position.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition or job‑related discipline.
- At least three years of technical experience in formulations & technical manufacturing support roles.
- Other equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Extensive experience with granulation formulation and manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of excipients, processing aids, and their applications.
- Familiarity with cGMP requirements and FDA regulations.
- Experience working with SAP is a plus.

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to fall within the range listed below, however, pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus.
120,000 – 150,000 annual
