Position: General Radiology Clerk Role
Serve the Sechelt community as a Booking Clerk with Vancouver Coastal Health in the Radiology department. Oversee patient scheduling and support superior care delivery.

The Booking Clerk role at Sechelt Hospital involves performing crucial scheduling tasks and assisting in maintaining a patient-focused healthcare environment. You will coordinate with patients and medical staff to ensure all appointments are managed effectively, while preparing and confirming patient information for imaging services. Your work is integral to the functioning of healthcare services on the Sunshine Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange patient appointments for Radiology services

• Liaise with healthcare units and patients regarding schedules

• Enter and manage patient and imaging data accurately

• Fulfill receptionist duties to enhance patient care

• Reorganize schedules to meet evolving patient demands

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 and two years related experience

• Ability to type 40 words per minute

• Knowledge of medical terminology required

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Physical capability to perform the position’s responsibilities
