Join our collaborative team as a General Psychiatrist and experience the beautiful, dynamic community of the Sunshine Coast. The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical treatment team providing direct assessments for patients, clients, and their families. This role will include acute inpatient care, the emergency room, consultation liaison, as well as general outpatient services and community settings.

Services will include in‑person work as well as virtual work, and regular outreach will be provided to Powell River at Qathet Hospital both in person and virtually, including their inpatient unit, consultation liaison, and emergency room.

Successful candidate may be eligible for rural retention program benefits.

Qualifications
  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Mandatory
