Role Description This is a full-time, on-site High School Chemistry Teacher role based in Hyderabad. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned chemistry lessons for high school students, integrating practical experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
The teacher will maintain an organized and safe laboratory environment, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives. Additional duties include participating in parent–teacher meetings, school events, staff development programs, and contributing to the school’s academic and co-curricular culture.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Chemistry, with the ability to connect concepts to related areas such as Physics when relevant.
- Proficiency in Teaching and Lesson Planning, with experience designing structured, learner-centered classroom and lab experiences.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear classroom instruction, empathetic student interaction, and effective collaboration with colleagues and families.
- Background in Education, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry (or related field) and a
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification aligned with CBSE requirements.
- Prior experience teaching high school students, preferably in a CBSE or similar curriculum, with familiarity in assessment design and classroom management.
- Commitment to holistic education, inquiry-based learning, and values-driven teaching that supports character and leadership development.
- Comfort using educational technology, digital tools, and basic data tracking to support instruction and student progress.
- Ability to maintain lab safety standards, manage resources responsibly, and promote scientific curiosity and ethical practices in students.
