Service Shop Foreman

Description of the role:

The Service Shop Foreman at Rick Ball Ford in Sedalia, MO will be responsible for overseeing the service and repair operations in the shop. This role requires strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and coordinating technicians and service staff
• Supervising and keeping all technicians on track to finish jobs
• Maintaining the shop and all equipment in the shop
• Ensuring quality control and efficiency in all service operations
• Ordering parts and managing inventory
• Adhering to safety regulations and standards
• Contacting customers and keeping them up to date on their vehicle status

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive maintenance and repair
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• ASE certification preferred
• Valid driver's license
