Job Summary: Burrell has openings for Certified Peer Mobile Response Specialists in the Columbia and Central Missouri area to provide quality community treatment and services for individuals with behavioral health and substance use disorders.
Location: Columbia, Missouri, a vibrant city offering recreational attractions, restaurants, and entertainment, including Finger Lakes State Park and the University of Missouri campus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Share lived recovery experiences to inspire and support clients
- Describe personal recovery practices and assist clients in discovering effective strategies
- Provide support through validation, community engagement, hope, celebration of efforts, and concrete assistance
- Participate in treatment planning with team and clients
- Build caring relationships using interpersonal skills and recovery knowledge
- Help clients identify strengths and resources for recovery
- Respect personal values and culture, tailoring support accordingly
- Assist clients in setting goals, envisioning the future, and functioning as part of the recovery team
- Develop and share information about community resources
Education and Experience
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license and favorable driving record
- Certified Missouri Peer Specialist
