To provide guests with an outstanding experience through exceptional service while assisting the manager in reaching sales goals and minimizing shrinkage. Team members will achieve these goals through quality‑prepared food and great guest service.

• Consistently demonstrate Woods Supermarket D&E service and Hospitality 4.
• Maintain an enthusiastic customer experience, focusing on fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to teammates.
• Follow technical manuals for product processing, labeling, and packaging.
• Ensure receiving, preparation, conditioning, and display of merchandise complies with company and vendor guidelines.
• Maintain proper sanitation of department, equipment, food handling, and preparation areas.
• Report or correct unsafe conditions that could cause accidents.
• Report all teammate and guest accidents to the manager on duty.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Update displays and customer‑facing areas to showcase new items and promotions.
• Prep, store, rotate, and stock merchandise.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by managers, including substitution for absent teammates and additional duties during peak periods.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Grocery store setting; inside work with variations in heat, cold, dust, and humidity caused by opening store entrance doors. Some outside work may be required.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
