Job Title: Cake Decorator
Reports To: Deli Manager

Successful teammates will conduct themselves in a positive attitude and truthful character demonstrating D&E service and hour Hospitality 4 culture.
Responsibilities- Provide premier guest service, including answering their questions.
- Ice, decorate, package, and price products for freezer and refrigerated showcases.
- Fill guests’ special orders, including wedding cakes.
- Sell products by providing guests with information needed to make product‑related decisions.
- Operate the Bakery department mixer.
- Follow Woods’ guidelines for cake decorating and maintain Woods’ high standards for product freshness and sanitation.
- Organize and rotate stock in the freezer.
- Train other teammates as needed.
- Assist with the delivery and setup of orders as needed.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal health codes and regulations.
- Assure the safety of yourself, guests, and teammates by understanding and practicing store safety rules and notifying a supervisor of any potential hazards.
- Communicate with the department manager on problems, recommend changes and merchandising ideas.
- Ensure that the country of origin labelling is on all items that are not individually labelled.
- Adhere to FIFO stocking rules, while consistently rotating product on the sales floor, freezer, and the back room.
- Understand and follow the Lock‑Out‑Tag‑Out policy.
- Proper use and cleaning of the bakery oven.
- To perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisors and managers, substituting for absent teammates and performing any additional tasks necessary to provide products and services to guests during peak periods of business.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Knowledge of decorating.
- Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt guest service.
- Ability to read, write, perform simple math, interpret and follow instructions, and solve problems.
- Previous cake‑decorating experience.
All teammates may be regularly required to perform the following motions:

The teammate must be able to perform the above motions “frequently” and “occasionally” under the strength level highlighted on the position’s job description/physical capacity release form. Teammates performing in these roles are required to meet the minimum physical capacity so that they may safely perform their job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
