Overview
Sales / Customer Service Representative for Yearbooks
Location:
Sedalia, Missouri
Through direct marketing via mail, telephone calls, website inquiries, response cards, etc., the representative is responsible for increasing sales in both their specific territory and for the team as a whole within the goals and guidelines set by management for accountability. External communications will include, but will not necessarily be limited to public and private school teachers, administrators, parent/student organizations, photographers, territory representatives, and private individuals.
Customer service is provided on orders from order entry through the post-shipment time frame with interaction between the customer, representative, manufacturing, and accounting. Internal communications will include, but will not necessarily be limited to other representatives of the Sales and Customer Service team, Information Systems, Accounting, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Management. Pay: hourly wage with commission paid annually if sales goals are met.

Manage direct marketing activities to increase sales within territory and for the team, following management guidelines and accountability measures.
Handle customer interactions from order entry through post-shipment, coordinating with manufacturing and accounting as needed.
Communicate internally with Sales and Customer Service, Information Systems, Accounting, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements / SpecificationsMinimum requirements: High school diploma or GED; must read, write, and communicate in English related to the position; an associate’s or college degree is preferred. Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred. Working knowledge of basic office procedures (keyboard, etc.). Knowledge or experience with a CRM or customer database software is preferred. Knowledge of basic accounting functions is helpful but not required. Strong communication skills and a pleasant telephone voice.
Proven sales experience is desired; inside sales experience is preferred.

- Salary and commission. Salary range: $33,280 – $35,000 annually with 11% commission on sales growth annually.
