To inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all electrical equipment. Ensure all machines and building systems are properly repaired. Make electronic repairs at various times to build knowledge and expertise. Electricians must be capable of repairing any AC or DC drives to the best of their abilities.

- Receive instructions covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and inspection work to be performed.
- Inspect all electrical equipment for proper operation, wear, and compliance with safety standards.
- Check motor bearings for lubrication, excessive vibration, and signs of wear or need for adjustment.
- Perform monthly ISO preventive maintenance inspections, ensuring all activities are thoroughly documented and time is accurately recorded to support compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Pull and prepare motors for repair when required, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
- Keep the supervisor informed of any electrical repairs needed to maintain optimal equipment efficiency.
- Determine the best repair approach to minimize production interruptions and downtime.
- Interpret and analyze electrical drawings and wiring diagrams to locate and trace circuits, determine material and replacement needs, and develop logical troubleshooting and repair strategies to resolve equipment issues.
- Adjust equipment to achieve proper operating characteristics
, including calibrating control settings, aligning mechanical components, fine-tuning sensors and interlocks, and verifying performance through functional testing and routine preventive maintenance checks. - Perform temporary or permanent repairs on control panels, relays, interlocking control systems, electronic devices, and circuit breakers. Conduct preventive maintenance including visual inspections, cleaning, tightening connections, testing functionality, verifying proper operation of interlocks and safety devices, and replacing worn or defective components to maintain system reliability and compliance.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on cranes and hoists
, including inspections, lubrication, mechanical adjustments, replacement of worn parts, testing of limit switches and safety devices, and documentation of all work to ensure regulatory compliance and equipment reliability. - Maintain power rooms to ensure they are clean, well-lit, and properly ventilated, supporting safe working conditions and optimal equipment performance.
- Perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting and maintenance on PLCs and instrumentation systems
