Rendering Generalist Maintenance C-Shift RVI-Sedalia, MO

Starting Pay $21.35 - $30.30/hr

C-Shift: Every Thursday and Friday, Every other Sunday, Friday and Saturday 6 am - 6 pm (United States of America)

• This position is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Rendering General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• You must be able set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
• Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software, and other software systems, to make work orders and/or fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
• Must be willing to read, write, and communicate effectively to communicate machine readings to proper personnel.
• Must be willing to lift 60 lbs. climb ladders and work at heights up to and exceeding 30' daily and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
• Must as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
• Applicants must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach.
• Team Members who hold these positions must be willing to work in either cold, damp, or hot, humid environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
• Must be willing to complete all required training for the job and be willing to participate in job rotation.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must have a valid MO driver’s license and no DWI/DUI within the past 12 months.

Basic maintenance experience or mechanical skills, knowledge, or work history listed on the application or resume.

• The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
