Job Description

Join Performance Food Group as a CDL A Truck Driver. Work 5 days per week in day shifts from home. Sign‑on bonus of $10,000 (not available to those who worked a PFG‑owned company within the last 6 months).

Food and food service delivery drivers ensure customers receive products on time and in good condition. They represent the company and build lasting relationships.

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co‑workers.
• Collaborate as a team member and perform any duty assigned.
• Conduct safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections following DOT regulations.
• Report all safety issues, hazards, and required repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
• Ensure trailers are properly loaded and secured.
• Count check items, verify customer invoices, and complete accurate paperwork.
• Move tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
• Deliver customer orders according to the predetermined route schedule.
• Unload products, transport them to customer storage areas, and conduct damage control checks.
• Verify delivery with customer, obtain signatures, and collect payment if required.
• Load customer returns onto trailer and secure doors.
• Secure all equipment and freight, lock trailers.
• Maintain trailers and loading dock area clean.
• Complete daily hours of service log per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• 6+ months commercial driving experience
• High school diploma, GED, or state‑approved equivalent
• Valid CDL A
• Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
• Minimum age 21
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Valid current DOT Health Card (or ability to secure one)
• Ability to hand‑lift and use two‑wheeler, lift gate, and other equipment to move product cases ranging 10‑35 lb., up to 60‑90 lb.

$30.60 per hour
