Job Details A growing aerospace manufacturing company in the Burlington area is adding a Controller to its leadership team. This is a newly important role within the organization as the business continues to expand and improve its financial and operational infrastructure.

The Controller will work closely with the President and senior leadership, providing the financial visibility needed to make informed business decisions. This person will have ownership over the accounting function while also contributing to budgeting, cost management, forecasting, process improvement, and broader business strategy. We're looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on and wants to be more than a back-office accounting leader.

You'll have the opportunity to understand how the business operates, identify what's working and what isn't, and help leadership make decisions based on the numbers. What You'll Be Doing Financial Management Take ownership of the company's accounting and financial reporting functions. Lead monthly and year-end close and ensure leadership has accurate financial information. Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

Track financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop meaningful financial and operational metrics for leadership. Manufacturing Finance Partner with operations to understand manufacturing costs and profitability. Oversee product and project costing, including absorption accounting. Review material, labor, inventory, and overhead costs. Analyze differences between expected and actual costs. Help leadership understand the financial impact of changes in production, materials, products, and processes.
