Overview
Peace Health United General Medical Center in Sedro Woolley, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at Peace Health is $45.14 – $67.70. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
Responsibilities- Evaluates assigned patients and establishes a treatment plan and goals, using data from sources such as patient records, interviews, observation, and team members.
- Provides patient treatment according to plan of care and modifies the plan to meet patient needs, and updates the plan as appropriate.
- Completes documentation accurately and timely, according to regulatory and state licensure requirements, and within professional standards.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth, continuous care of patients. May act as a liaison with nursing, medical and other therapy staff to facilitate problem solving and coordination of services and act as an educational resource.
- May mentor and provide oversight to new caregivers, physical therapist assistants, and/or therapy aides. Provides clinical instruction and training to students.
- Recommends and participates in development of new services and programs, quality improvement and monitoring activities.
- Participates in staff meetings, patient care meetings, educational in-services, caregiver orientation and other professional activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (accredited by CAPTE) or closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted).

Physical Therapist License – State of Washington. - Required:
Upon Hire Basic Life Support.
