Dogwood Industries is a leading developer and manufacturer of pre‑engineered relocatable metal buildings. We are seeking a Shipping Material Handler to facilitate the efficient and accurate shipping of finished product in our factory.

• Ensures the readiness of outgoing product through execution of prep‑to‑ship procedures
• Manages change when unforeseen conditions require adjustments to work plan and schedule
• Meets deadlines and completes projects on time
• Is skilled in documenting, tracking and reporting
• Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work environment
• Accurately follows material control procedures

• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong organization skills and the ability to track, retain, and integrate information
• Ability to confidently interface with all levels of company organization
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and schedules
• Fluent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
• Excellent written communications, using correct grammar and spelling

• 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
• Previous construction, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
• Previous shipping and/or receiving experience is a plus
• Welding experience is a plus

The employee will be able to lift, pull, and push material and equipment, and may need to lift up to 70 pounds. The work environment includes exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment.
