Position: Certified Shift Manager $19-$22 an hour

Description

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products when operating the restaurant. However, the franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer. Only the franchisee is responsible for hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling employees.

McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant.

Role Overview

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and fellow managers during a shift to guarantee high quality, service, and cleanliness. Responsibilities include planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking corrective action to meet standards, ensuring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to assist in a smooth transition.

Shift Managers may also meet shift targets and support department goals.

Qualifications

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who enjoy the fast-paced McDonald’s environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned restaurants.
