We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at Fireplace Showcase. In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes clean, diagnose, and repair their existing appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority.

• Respond to client requests for appliance service
• Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
• Estimate the parts needed for appliance repair and service
• Repair appliances
• Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
• Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
• Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances
• Maintain accurate and detailed records
• Problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot.

• High school diploma/GED
• Associates degree or appliance repair certification preferred such as National Fireplace Institute or Chimney Safety Institute of America
• Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with carpentry, HVAC, construction, electric and mechanical skills.
• A background in the hearth industry, although we are happy to train and provide education around our products.
• Previous experience in mechanical repair or customer service.
