Overview
(3063) Crisis Clinician – Diversion Center (7p – 7a) at Bluebonnet Trails Community Services. Diversion Center provides 24/7 access to immediate crisis assessment and intervention in a facility-based setting, with referrals from local law enforcement, emergency departments, and other behavioral health first responders. The Diversion Center supports adults in crisis through evaluation and assessment, medication management, safety planning, and care coordination, with the aim of stabilizing a crisis and diverting individuals from jail, emergency rooms, and hospitalization.
Key Responsibilities- Engages in de-escalation and crisis intervention with empathy
- Provide person-centered services aligned with the Center’s mission and values
- Build relationships with colleagues across programs and contribute to shared goals
- Provide individual and group services within the residential program
- Complete all required unit and agency training and maintain awareness of best practices and policies

Seguin, TX
Hourly Salary Range: $24.23 – $37.98
Differentials and Experience- On-Call per shift (Crisis/Jail Diversion) – $30/day
- On-Call Hourly Differential (Crisis/Jail Diversion) – $1.75/hr
- Shift Differentials:
Evening $2.00/hr;
Overnight $4.00/hr;
Weekend $4.00/hr;
Weekend Overnight $6.00/hr - Differential details include additional crisis experience, tenure, licensure, bilingual ability, and advanced degrees as described
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses, and ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment. A minimum of two years of case management experience is required. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver status throughout employment. If the degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required.
Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree; pursuing clinical licensure in counseling, applied behavior analysis, family therapy, social work, or a related field. Licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Bilingual in ASL or Spanish preferred; experience in providing concurrent documentation preferred.
