Join the Front Desk Agent team at MCR Hotels – Towne Place Suites Seguin
, ensuring a friendly arrival and departure experience for all guests.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
  • Use guests’ names whenever possible to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction scores by addressing all needs and requests promptly.
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities, amenities, and events.
  • Operate technology and systems relevant to the role, including computer, phone, and booking systems.
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
  • Keep all front and back-of-house areas clean and well‑organized, including guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Participate in clean‑up duties, such as preparing rooms and maintaining public areas.
  • Complete operational checklists accurately at designated times during each shift.
  • Generate accurate shift‑handover reports for smooth communication between shifts.
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform, be well‑groomed, and wear a nametag while smiling at all times.
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members.
  • Demonstrate a “can‑do” attitude, willing to stretch beyond the traditional role to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with all team members at all levels to create a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring a timely process and follow‑up to confirm satisfaction.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of room rates, promotions, and inventory.
  • Receive and note all incoming mail per the daily shift checklist.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Preferred experience in hospitality, service, consumer‑facing franchise, or related field.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.
  • Work well under stress and in high‑pressure situations.
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Desire to serve all guests.
  • Minimum age of 18 years or older.
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Arrive on time and clock in/out at scheduled shift times, never working off the clock.
  • Clock in/out for breaks at designated times.
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift.
Physical Working Demands
  • Stand or remain stationary for long periods (3–4 hours).
  • Perform computer data entry, telephone use, and other office tasks.
  • Bend, stoop, crouch, lift, and transport supplies up to 25 pounds and move throughout the hotel.
  • Inspect and observe details at close and long range.
  • Occasionally lift packages or general office equipment.
  • Work in a moderate noise level environment with frequent communication.
Language & Reasoning Skills
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
