** Job Description
**** Position Summary
** Assist with repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
** Essential Job Functions
** Assist Maintenance Technician with install, maintenance and repair of hydraulic and mechanical systems such large molding press, robots, assembly fixtures, drill fixtures, paint/finish equipment, conveyors. Assist Maintenance Technicians with general plant equipment. Preform mold changes. Conduct P.M.’s activities of facility and production. General plant 5S, cleaning and painting. Other duties as assigned.

- ** Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence, and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
* ** Mathematical Skills
- ** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
* ** Reasoning Ability
- ** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
* ** Computer Skills
- ** Competence in personal computer Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, e-mail) and familiar with another database related software.
** Education
* * A high school diploma or equivalent.
** Physical Requirements
** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift to 100 pounds with assistance.  

Ability to utilize hand-held tools/machinery/instruments, both manual and powered, both precision and non-precision.  Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, painting, greasing, oiling, grinding, drilling, disassemble and reassemble simple machine parts. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Knowledge of chemicals specific to job-some exposure to fumes.  

proximity to high temperature molds and materials (290°F/450°F).
** Working Conditions
** Will be required to work within the plant – factory environment where there is some exposure to noise, dust, fiberglass, and heat. Must adhere to PPE requirements as defined in the safety manual when in the manufacturing area.
