Cath Lab | RN Travel – Seguin, TX

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Seguin, TX. Provide high-quality acute care nursing while working a consistent weekday schedule with rotating call in Central Texas.

  8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with rotating call
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Charting System: MEDITECH

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Texas
• At least 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab or closely related critical-care nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work scheduled weekday shifts and participate in rotating call coverage
• BSN is not required

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures
• Complete patient assessments, verify procedural readiness, and monitor patients throughout their care
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, efficient procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered while monitoring for complications or changes in patient condition
• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to Cardiac Cath Lab protocols
• Support post-procedure recovery, provide patient education, and communicate discharge instructions as appropriate
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the MEDITECH system
• Respond to scheduled and emergent call needs in accordance with unit expectations
