Scope of Responsibility

Provides nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame. Routinely leads team of care providers.

Responsible to Director of Emergency Services

Education

Associates Degree Nurse or Bachelors of Science Nursing Degree

Training and Experience

Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLSand ACLSfor Healthcare Provider
Obtains and maintainsTNCC within 18 months of employment
Obtains and maintains PALS or ENPC within6 months of employment
Strongly recommend CEN
