The Home Depot is seeking individuals to provide fast, friendly service by actively helping customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance. Associates learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to support sales.

• Greet, qualify, recommend, and close with every customer in their department and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments.
• Maintain in-stock conditions of assigned areas and ensure they are clean, shop-able, and safe.
• Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following safety policies and standards, completing required safety training, and immediately correcting hazards or reporting them to the Manager on Duty.
• Work in cooperation with the Department Supervisor, other associates in their department, and other departments.
• Possibly work in store departments such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental.
• Position types may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
