What You'll Do

• Responsible for the delivery of products to customers, contractors, and jobsites throughout the geographic region.
• Inspect vehicle(s) for safety or operational defects using DOT, maintenance, and safety checklists; ensure emergency equipment is in proper working order.
• Use Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) during vehicle operation; driver will be trained accordingly.
• Load truck which may require securing chains, tarping loads, and hooking trailers.
• Perform frequent physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs/ladders, working with chains, and inspecting equipment.
• Set up sideboard kits around the trailer perimeter.
• Demonstrate dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Work safely to prevent injuries, following safety rules and wearing PPE.
• Understand start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain daily housekeeping duties.

What You'll Need

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
• Knowledge of D.O.T. Regulations/Requirements.
• No recent violations for reckless or negligent operation, felonies involving CMV, DUI/DWI, multiple moving violations, preventable accidents, or excessive speeding.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights out of state, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
