Position: Door-to-Door Sales Associate - Full/Part Time, Multiple Locations

Position Summary

We are hiring for multiple full and part-time/temporary positions, with each role dedicated to one of the following communities:
Tacoma or Ellensburg/Selah.

As a Door-to-Door Sales Associate with Lightcurve, you’ll play a key role in converting sales leads into customers by engaging face-to-face with residents at their homes and community events. We’re looking for resilient self-starters who enjoy meeting new people, overcoming objections, and closing deals.

This role is ideal for individuals with previous outside or door-to-door sales experience who are eager to take advantage of high commissions, uncapped earning potential, and performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Canvassing & Prospecting:
    Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned neighborhoods and attend community events to identify potential customers.
  • Engagement:
    Initiate conversations confidently and professionally, introducing yourself and Lightcurve’s products with enthusiasm.
  • Sales Presentation:
    Present service offerings clearly, focusing on benefits, competitive differentiators, and the value they bring to the customer’s home experience.
  • Closing Sales:
    Use persuasive techniques to gain customer commitment and complete sales transactions.
  • Documentation:
    Accurately document interactions, track progress, and update the CRM system.
  • Follow-Up:
    Re-engage with warm leads to build relationships and increase chances of conversion.
  • Customer Service:
    Provide pre- and post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Performance Targets:
    Meet or exceed individual sales quotas and activity benchmarks.
  • Territory Coverage:
    Maintain consistent presence and visibility in your assigned territory.
  • Be a brand ambassador:
    Embody Lightcurve’s values through your conduct, customer interactions, and commitment to excellence.
Measuring Success
  • Sales Revenue:
    Tracking of total revenue from closed deals.
  • Number of Sales:
    Volume of completed transactions.
  • Conversion Rate:
    Ratio of leads approached to deals closed.
  • Average Order Value (AOV):
    Typical value of each sale.
  • Activity Metrics:
    Number of doors knocked, presentations given, and appointments set.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    Quality rating of customer interactions and service follow-through.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Prior experience in door-to-door, outside, or field sales roles preferred.
  • Prior Telecommunications or Broadband experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven with a passion for achieving and exceeding goals.
  • High energy, competitive spirit, and resilient mindset.
  • A scrappy, nimble, innovative and hands-on contributor who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to accomplish goals and has a passion for competing and winning against larger players in the market.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
  • Comfortable with rejection and persistence in follow-up.
  • Basic computer literacy to enter and manage sales data.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must maintain Valid Driver’s License and Non-negligent driving record.
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check & drug screening as well as potential fingerprinting depending on sales location as required by city ordinance.
  • Sales: 1 year (required)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (required)
Location, Physical Requirements, and Work Environment
  • In-person; must be able to commute to the office respective to the position for which you are applying:
    Tacoma or Ellensburg/Selah.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions:
    You will be exposed to different types of weather, including sun, rain, and potentially snow, and you will need to be able to work comfortably in these conditions.
  • Extensive walking and/or standing for extended periods:
    This role requires you to travel considerable distances by foot to reach potential customers’ homes, meaning you need to be capable of prolonged walking and standing.
  • Ability to navigate different terrains:
    You might encounter paved roads, gravel paths, dirt trails, and even hilly areas.
