Accounts Senior

• Prepare statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors.
• Produce corporation tax computations, VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with clients, providing a professional and responsive service.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
• Review the work of junior team members, offering guidance, coaching and technical support.
• Assist with improving internal processes and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with current accounting standards and regulations.
• Work closely with colleagues across the practice to deliver a high-quality service.

• ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified, or currently studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
• Confident preparing accounts for a range of owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build lasting client relationships.
• Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues would be advantageous.
