Auxo Engineering are looking for a multi‑skilled engineer with an electrical bias to join our client based in Selby, Yorkshire on a full‑time basis. They are a leading sustainable packaging manufacturer with a strong presence across Europe, producing high‑quality, sustainable corrugated packaging for a wide range of industries.

Working hours:

06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00 and 22:00 – 06:00 rotating weekly.

Salary: £56,000

You’ll start with a structured training plan, spending time across all areas of the department and working closely with our maintenance team. This will help you gain a full understanding of our machinery, processes, and procedures. Once up to speed, you’ll join our 3‑shift rotation, working alongside our experienced Engineers to keep production running at its best.

• Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of colleagues, following all risk assessments and procedures.
• Working closely with Cell Technicians and Cell Leaders to maximise production output and minimise downtime.
• Ensuring machines are in top mechanical and electrical condition so we can consistently produce high‑quality products.
• Sourcing parts and services when required – ensuring they are cost‑effective, right for the first time, and delivered on time.
• Maintaining a tidy, organised work area and following all health, safety, hygiene, and legal requirements.
• Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns and completing repairs to the highest standard.

• Fully qualified apprentice‑trained Electrical Engineer (Level
  3).
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Multi‑skilled with experience in both mechanical and electrical fault‑finding.
• Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• PLC and drive knowledge is an advantage.
• GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
