Shift Process Operator

Overview

We are seeking a safety-conscious Shift Process Operator to oversee the production process on-site in a chemical plant facility. You will monitor equipment and work to ensure quality, efficiency and safety of the manufacturing plant.

Shift pattern – Average of 42 hours per week, day and night shifts. Working hours are 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00.

Role type – Permanent

• Monitoring condition of process
• Data logging and archiving
• Stock management of sufficient resources to deliver planned activity
• Working closely with the Lab Department
• Taking scheduled samples for lab or on-plant self-analysis
• Supervision of goods in and out, including loading/unloading of road tankers and using forklift trucks
• Previous chemical process experiences an advantage
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ensure that any problems are reported to the relevant manager/department immediately
• Work in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures
• Ensure PPE is worn correctly and appropriately
• Ensure work is always undertaken to the highest standard
• Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations
• Ensure compliance with our ISO standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times

• Experience in chemical process operations is advantageous
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
