Waste Operative (Skip Sorting)
Location: Cliffe
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Waste Operative to join our team. The role involves sorting the contents of skips, separating recyclable materials, and ensuring waste is processed correctly and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Sorting and separating waste materials from skips
- Identifying recyclable items and placing them in the correct areas
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with general yard duties as required
- Good level of physical fitness
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own transport due to location
