Warehouse Forklift Licence

I'm delighted to be recruiting on behalf of my client, based in Selby, who is looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced Warehouse/FLT Operative to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy warehouse operation, putting your practical skills and attention to detail to good use in a role that combines warehouse duties, stock management and computer-based order processing.

You’ll play an important part in keeping the warehouse running smoothly, with responsibilities including:

• Order Processing:
  Accurately entering and processing customer orders using computer systems.
• Picking & Packing:
  Manually picking orders efficiently and accurately.
• Stock Control:
  Maintaining accurate stock records and helping ensure inventory is kept organised.
• Loading & Unloading:
  Handling deliveries and dispatches, including loading and unloading couriers and containers.
• Warehouse Support:
  Helping maintain an organised, efficient and productive working environment.

We’re keen to hear from candidates who are practical, dependable and ready to get stuck in.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced or busy environment.
• Good basic computer skills, with the ability to input logistical data and process orders accurately.
• An understanding of stock control and warehouse procedures.
• A current FLT licence would be advantageous, but it’s not essential.
• A full UK driving licence would be preferable.
• A positive attitude, good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team and can be relied upon to get the job done.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

• £13.73 per hour
• Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
