Operations Manager
New opportunity with a leading solar EPC specializing in distributed generation projects, currently expanding its Construction team in the Northeast!
They’re hiring a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site execution of 2-7MW DC solar PV projects.
This is a field leadership role ideal for someone with strong solar construction experience who thrives in managing operations, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality projects that accelerate the clean energy transition.
Base pay range$40.00/hr - $55.00/hr
What You’ll Be Doing:- Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through commissioning for PV projects.
- Ensure adherence to project schedule, scope, and quality standards.
- Coordinate daily field operations and subcontractor activities (civil, mechanical, electrical).
- Monitor and enforce site safety standards in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Conduct daily site meetings and toolbox talks.
- Interface with project management to report progress, resolve issues, and support schedule and budget goals.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, inspections, and photo records.
- Oversee equipment deliveries, material staging, and site logistics.
- 5-10 years of solar construction management experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 3-4 days per week to job sites.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards; OSHA 10 minimum required.
- Professional licenses in trade (CSL, NABCEP PV, etc.) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
