Base pay range is $15.00/hr – $17.00/hr, based on skills and experience.

• Use the E.C.E.T. (Every Customer, Every Time) process with every customer interaction.
• Greet every customer you make eye contact with, anywhere in the store.
• Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures and policies.
• Be at your workstation on time and ready on the sales floor.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
• Recommend related items and execute the S.A.L.E.S. process.
• Keep your area neat, clean, stocked, and properly priced.
• Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
• Assist in training and development of peers.
• Actively participate in daily huddle meetings.
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
• Offer carry‑out when appropriate.
• Answer the telephone properly.
• Detect possible merchandise losses and report missing or damaged items.
• Address safety concerns immediately.
• Advise management of pricing errors or when refusing a sale.
• Take initiative to learn product and selling skills.
• Perform other tasks as asked by management.

• Aid customers in locating merchandise in-store, on , and processing special orders.
• Execute all store services (mixing paint, cutting glass, pipe, keys).
• Ensure shipments are packed correctly and overstock removed.
• Help process new shipments and maintain clean receiving/back‑stock area.

• Ring transactions accurately.
• Collect loyalty cards before starting transactions, sign customers up if needed.
• Call for help if more than three customers are waiting.
• Remain busy around registers when not ringing.
• Process merchandise returns as needed.

• Walking on flat surfaces – frequent.
• Standing – constant.
• Stooping to pick up cartons – frequent.
• Reaching up to 6 feet – frequent.
• Lifting up to 60 lbs. with up to 500 repetitions per hour to a height of 4 feet; must lift up to 25 lbs. comfortably.
• Hand dexterity – frequent; operate register and complete paperwork.
• Pushing/pulling hand jacks or similar – frequent.
• Carrying up to 50 lbs. over 10 feet; occasionally more.
• Climbing stairs or ladders in storage rooms – infrequent.
• Vision: read labels and recognize boxes; hearing: respond to safety signals.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
