Open Scientific provides contract staffing and direct hire recruitment services for the scientific, engineering, laboratory and manufacturing sectors.
Job DescriptionA pharmaceutical company is hiring warehouse and production workers for their facilities on Long Island. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to packaging pharmaceutical products and following all SOPs and GMPs. The right candidate should have prior experience or interest working in this type of industry.
S/he should exemplify:
- Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment
- Comply with all company policies/procedures
Main responsibilities include:
- Constructing, packing, taping, labeling, palletizing products compliant with written procedures
- Maintaining a clean and orderly environment
- Identifying any improvement opportunities
- Performing tasks following GMP guidelines and procedures
- Cleaned and sterilized hopper according to SOP when necessary
- Ensuring that packaging line is set-up and running productively following all packaging operations
