Overview
Shift Supervisor Trainee at CVS Health. This entry-level, short-term role prepares an employee to perform higher-level supervisory duties and to support store operations while undergoing management skills training.
Upon successful completion of the training program, Shift Supervisor Trainees may be considered for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. When no manager is onsite, the Trainee may lead store operations and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
Essential Functions- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, and to work overtime as needed
- Management:
Work effectively with store management and store crews - Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up on all activities
- Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
- Customer Service:
Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints - Promote CVS customer service culture (Greet, offer help, thank)
- Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
- Required Qualifications:
Deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills; advanced communication; ability to work a flexible schedule (early morning, overnight, weekends); ability to work overtime as needed
- Experience in retail
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

Pay RangeThe Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $17.25 - $26.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
