Job Description

We are seeking an experienced multifamily community manager for one of our Manufactured Housing communities. The Property Manager will focus primarily on community management, resident retention/relations, and daily operations. You will sell and rent homes as well as lease lots for those who purchase outside of our company and want to be a part of our family. The best candidate will be personable, detailed, task oriented, and committed to excellent customer service.

• Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals, explaining advantages, and showing units.
• Achieve financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
• Maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
• Secure property by maintaining security devices, enforcing precautionary policies, and responding to emergencies.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for tasks, exploring opportunities to add value.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Negotiate leases and collect security deposits with tenants.

• Team-oriented with strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Motivation for sales, meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing skills, prospecting, professionalism, internal communications, listening, and communication processes.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test. Positive attitude with desire to learn and excel in both team and independent work environments.

• 4-7 years of experience in multi-family property management.
• Experience with manufactured housing communities preferred.
