General ScopeManages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide and by identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Sales Service Professional's sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture, and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility.
WhatYou'll Do
- Maintain and build assigned business relationships.
- Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring, resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.
- Conduct the necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory plants and new customer sites.
- Sell new business and new applications in your territory – develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities.
- Manage profitability of the account (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable).
- Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements.
- Bachelor's Degree (Science or other technical degree). Experience in lieu of a technical degree is considered.
- 1–3 years industry experience (pulp & paper or water treatment preferred).
- Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems.
- Project management of complex projects.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them.
- Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports.
- Experience working with multiple levels in an organization to achieve results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using a consultive sales process.
- Must be able to pass screenings (drug screen, background check and physical) and have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds; manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful. Use of safety equipment to include but not be limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S monitor as required or needed.
- Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employee may be faced with working in temperature extremes.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $91,800.00 and $ plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
