Location:
Selma, Alabama
The Field Service Representative will focus on insurance premium collection for at least one assigned territory (agency) of the district. They will keep the collections current, offering exceptional door‑to‑door customer service skills and providing new sales referrals for follow‑up.
Position Responsibilities- Collection of monthly premiums from policyholders in one or more assigned agencies
- Answer questions or refer customers to proper department to resolve any issues
- Follow‑up on customer inquiries or concerns to ensure completion
- Follow up on any outstanding balances to avoid policy lapses
- Use technology to process premium payments
- Maintain and update customer and payment information (administrative responsibilities)
- Customer service experience
- Ability to visit customers in person at their homes
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with required 100/300 auto insurance
- Dependable vehicle as daily travel is required
- Ability to meet the requirements of a background check, motor vehicle report check and drug test
- Excellent communication skills – both in person, via telephone and in writing
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Resourcefulness in answering questions or solving any issues for the customer
- Consistent follow up on any open issues related to customers
- Self‑driven and takes initiative to succeed
