Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist- (CRNA

Join Vaughan Regional Medical Center as a full-time CRNA.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering anesthetic care for patients requiring anesthesia, sedation, and pain relief therapy.
• Performing pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations.
• Administering pre-anesthesia medication and anesthesia (general, regional, local, or moderate sedation).
• Developing and implementing care plans, including post-anesthesia follow-up.
• Monitoring patient conditions and responding to abnormalities.
• Providing emergent care, including airway management and administration of emergency fluids, blood, drugs, and life support techniques.
• Managing clinical support functions, materials, supplies, and developing policies.

Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must work effectively in stressful environments.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited Anesthesia Education Program.
• Current CRNA license in Alabama, certified by the Alabama Board of Nursing and NBCRNA.
• Current RN license in Alabama.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (BLS within 30 days of hire, ACLS & PALS within 6 months).

Chief CRNA.
