Vaughan Physician Practices

• Basic assessment, obtaining V/S, patient documentation
• Assisting with care of patients to include but not limited to procedures: IM injections, starting IVs, wound care, ear wash, I&D, removal of lesions, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, GXT
• Calling in prescriptions as directed by MD/NP
• Scheduling tests, procedures, making referrals
• Cleaning and restocking rooms
• EKGs, obtaining O2 saturations
• Ordering supplies, and counting narcotics

• Education: Current licensed as a LPN in the State of Alabama. BLS required.
• Experience: Previous LPN experience in a Physician practice preferred.
• Skills: Basic physical assessment, V/S, draw blood, perform X-rays, start IVs, administer IM injections, assist with office procedures, basic wound care, and dressing changes.

• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods
• Walk at least 6 hours per day
• Lift/carry 20-50 pounds
• Hear alarms and telephone rings
• Distinguish colors
• Perform repetitive tasks/motions
• Have good eye/hand/foot coordination
• Have clear vision at 20 or more feet with vision corrective device
