Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Per-Diem Registered Nurse for an opening at a Medical Center in Selma, AL. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic setting, managing a diverse patient population and collaborating with a skilled healthcare team.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license from the state of Alabama.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of RN work experience.

Skills:
Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred). - Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, cultural competency, collaboration, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Credentialing Requirements: Clean background check, negative TB test results, annual physical, COVID-19 vaccination, and other requirements as specified by the facility or agency.
- Deliver high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients, managing complex conditions, advanced life support equipment (e.g., ventilators, vasoactive drips), and continuous physiological monitoring.
- Perform vigilant, ongoing patient assessment and surveillance, interpreting subtle changes in condition and responding immediately to prevent clinical deterioration.
- Administer and titrate potent medications and intravenous therapies with precision, based on comprehensive patient data and physician orders.
- Collaborate as a core member of a multidisciplinary team (physicians, specialists, respiratory therapists) to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and their families during critical illness, facilitating understanding and involvement in care decisions.
