Join Game Stop as a Retail Keyholder (Store 6538) and help us provide exceptional service and deliver the latest gaming products to our customers. Your role supports the store management team by executing and supervising all store activities with moderate supervision, ensuring products are easily accessible, promoting sales, maintaining a clean shopping environment, and fostering guest loyalty.

• Provide best‑in‑class guest service: greet guests, answer questions, recommend items, and apply all selling behaviors during each transaction.
• Support the overall shopping environment and nurture guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business.
• Process guest purchases and returns accurately via the POS computer system.
• Respond to guest inquiries by phone and in person promptly and courteously.
• Promote Game Stop’s guest benefits, such as the new title reservations program and the Pro Rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards, including restrooms and fixtures.
• Complete Omni‑Channel orders daily and safeguard company assets through inventory control, loss prevention practices, and daily bank deposits.
• Count, restock, and reconcile daily business transaction totals accurately in the POS system.
• Check shipments for discrepancies, record them, and report them to management.
• Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls accurately and promptly.
• Visually inspect packages and/or belongings at store closing or at the end of a shift.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates in the absence of management.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures and observe associate performance.

• Proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store unassisted for up to 10 hours per day.

• Genuine and friendly assistance to every guest during each visit.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Meet associate performance expectations, including attendance, professional dress, and grooming requirements.
• Operate POS computer system and complete required paperwork.
• Basic math and alphabetizing skills.
• Self‑motivation and teamwork to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Problem‑solving skills and judgment abilities.
• Follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Deposit bank deposits following loss prevention safety guidelines.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum of 3 days/week availability.
• Handle stress effectively under pressure.
• Lifting and carrying merchandise up to 30 lbs and standing/moving for up to 10 hours per day.

Pay: $17.40 – $20.15 per hour.
