CARE Pinellas is seeking dedicated and compassionate nursing students to join us as part-time caregivers in Seminole.

This position is ideal for nursing students looking to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting and gain practical experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. Our care team works to promote independence, improve quality of life, share in joy, and help clients stay safe and happier at home.

Pay information

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $16.00/hr this range is provided by Ameri

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for clients, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility around the home or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to do so.
• Report unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal services when necessary.

• Enrolled in a nursing program (RN, CNA or LPN students preferred).
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to learn new skills.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Prior experience in healthcare or in-home care (minimum 1 year).
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver is a plus.
• Hoyer Lift experience (if applicable).
