Role Overview
As a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you will oversee three H&R Block tax offices, providing leadership, managing teams, and driving business growth. This role involves staff management, client service, and operational responsibilities. Prior tax experience is not required. The schedule begins as part-time in fall, transitioning to full-time from January to April, with in-person work required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-unit management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staffing, operations, and logistics across multiple offices
- Partner with the District General Manager on growth initiatives
- Recruit, train, and develop staff
- Conduct performance reviews and resolve employee issues
- Lead team meetings and communicate effectively
- Create work schedules and ensure labor compliance
- Travel between offices as needed
- Assist in tax return preparation upon completing required training
Qualifications
- People management experience with a focus on development
- Ability to execute growth strategies
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
