Provide occupational therapy (OT) and related services for patients, maintaining a positive interaction with facilities and clients.
- Screen and evaluate patients; develop and update treatment plans and discharge plans
- Supervise assistants and rehab techs; case‑manage responsibilities
- Maintain professional conduct consistent with Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service
- Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy
- Optimize patients’ function through therapy, consultation, and supervision of COTAs
- Directly supervise COTAs and rehab techs during group and individual treatment, promoting efficient use of resources
- Build a strong OT program and advance clinical expertise through continuing education
- Maintain valid state license and stay informed on occupational therapy and healthcare environment issues
- Apply knowledge of payment models and billing guidelines while ensuring quality, goal‑oriented care
- Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in English via written and oral instruction
